Description & History

Transition Llambed is an unprecedented, community-led project aimed at addressing the twin challenges of Peak Oil and climate change. The transition town concept is that if we all act together, we can plan our 'energy descent'. The Trust was recently established to acquire a local asset so that the organisation can then offer information, education, and meeting facilities. It is also aiming to provide practical employment and volunteering opportunities to the local community as well as support to encourage the community to embrace sustainability.
