Vision 21 - Cyfle Cymru is a social firm. Vision 21 was established in 1998 in Cardiff to provide training and work opportunities for people with disabilities. Vision 21 offers a varied range of vocational and social skills training programmes, work experience opportunities, tackling the exclusion of people with disability. It has placed well over a 100 people with disabilities into employment.
V21 has been working as a partnership between local people, the various ’care’ agencies’ and many other organisations.
The Trust has developed and owns and manages a wide range of incomeing generating community enterprises and aAssets including the Fieldway workshops and ICT training suite in Maesycoed Road, an asset owned by the Trust andand t The Skomer Road carpentry workshops in Barry, operating as a commercial and training carpentry workshop producing furniture and custom made items. The Trust has horticultural and environmental services based at the Oaks Centre in the Heath, Cardiff, the Deri Bach Garden Centre at Barry College and the Fairwater Community Garden (at Sbectrwm).
Catering services are offered through the ‘Nibblets Pantry’ catering project, the Fieldway kitchen and Gegin Fach Community Café at Sbectrwm.
Vision 21 has developed and manages the Sbectrwm Community Enterprise and Resource Centre, a former derelict school site and created managed office space, training and meeting rooms, a community hall, community garden and , horticulture training project, and the Fairwater pottery and training facility. In addition the project also owns and manages the Enfys gift and craft shop in Roath, Cardiff.
In addition Vision 21 is also involved in Biotol Productions an emerging social firm producing environmentally friendly garden products.
Based in Fairwater Cardiff, the trust serves Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and, increasingly, further a field as well.
Practical Work
These realistic work settings help students transfer their new skills into other situations. The social interaction with their fellow students and the public also helps students to develop social skills.
Cefn Mably Farm
Located near St Mellons near Cardiff, this project trains students in animal care, environmental conservation.
Belle Vue Cafe
Located in Newport this project trains students in catering, buffet preparation and retail skills .
Fairwater Community Garden
Located alongside Sbectrwm this project trains students in environmental, social and horticultural skills.
Fairwater Pottery
Located in Sbectrwm this project trains students in hand building techniques, and ceramic production skills.
Vision 21 Gift Shop
Located in Albany road in Cardiff this project enables students to develop retail skills by selling products made in our projects.
Information Communication Technology
Located in the Heath in Cardiff, this project trains students in basic ICT skills.

Located in Sbectrwm students learn food and buffet preparation, food hygiene, and retail skills
Fieldway Kitchen
Located in the Heath in Cardiff students learn basic catering skills in a canteen environment, food hygiene and an introduction to retail skills.

Located in Rookwood Hospital Cardiff, students learn food and buffet preparation, food hygiene, and retail skills.

Located in Allensbank Road, Cardiff, Students learn horticulture and retail skills in a small nursery environment .
Sbectrwm
Located in Fairwater in Cardiff this Community Enterprise Centre is home to a number of vision 21 projects as well as a range of voluntary and community organisations.
Training and Mentoring
Located inUnit 12, Fieldway, TAM provides Vision 21 student inductions as well as a wide range of accredited courses in work related and life skills as well as Creative Choices options.

Located in Cardiff this project trains students in preparing and finishing wood to build items for the home and garden.
