How to become a DTA Wales member

Step 1

Decide if you are applying as a full or an associate member. If you are unsure, you can contact DTA Wales on 029 2019 0260 or info@dtawales.org.uk to discuss your application. 

Step 2

Download either the full or associate application form from this site, by clicking on the links below or you can request a membership information pack with forms on 029 2019 0260 or email info@dtawales.org.uk. 

Step 3

Sign and return the form by post to DTA Wales with any additional information requested on the form (such as audited accounts and constitution). Please do not enclose payment as we will invoice you once your application has been accepted. 

Step 4

All applications are received and logged at DTA Wales so we can monitor their progress.

Full member applications will then be assessed, and if appropriate, we will arrange a visit. A report will then be written recommending your membership, if appropriate.

The Director will then recommend you for membership within the most suitable category for DTA Wales. This recommendation is then authorised by the DTA Wales Board and by DTA (UK) in London, for membership of DTA (UK).

Associate member applications are processed at the DTA Wales Office and approved by the DTA Wales Board. A visit is not required. The DTA UK office is subsequently notified if approved by DTA Wales. 

Step 5

Once approved, we will send you a letter and a pack welcoming you to the network and shortly afterwards an invoice for fees from the date you were accepted until April.
